Welcome! I am Bob Melton. I perform all over Florida and Georgia playing music for all ages and tastes. After more than 40 years in the music business I still enjoy entertaining as much as ever. I was born on a mountain top in Tennessee, but grew up from the age of four in Ft. Pierce, FL. You can listen to my entire CD here and download individual tracks or the entire album from My Music page. I recently added an album of unreleased originals. My lifelong friend, RCA recording artist Gary Stewart (RIP) is singing backup and playing piano on one that was recorded at RCA in Nashville. I hope you enjoy it here, and come back often. Hope you enjoyed the Sam Thompson tribute. He was a good friend of mine. I also hope you met some musicians. There are plenty of very good ones around that area and in Ft. Pierce and Vero Beach. Good luck with your daughter's career. It does seem like Nashville would be a much better place to pursue a career in music, but I do not have any facts about your move. I know that I have wished many times that I had never let myself get dragged away from there. We moved here from Nashville Tennessee, my daughter is a singer recording artist, we been here about 6 months, we dont where country music and pickers are around here, guess we we'll see some when we go Sam Thompson tritbute feb 16 in labelle, florida thats where we live. good to listen to your singing...
