Well I had a fantastic time last night at Cody's Roadhouse at Sumter Landing in The Villages. I want to thank everyone who came for making it such an awesome night!! It was a really great surprise to see old high school classmates Chuck and Charlotte Hughlett come down from Palatka, Larry and Myrt Brooks come up from Orlando, and Jack O'Conner come up from Mount Dora. It was like a mini-class reunion! It was also great to see my sister Linda and her husband Tom, as well as all the fantastic folks from the Orange Blossom Opry including John Myers, Judy Tremblay, Mona Beach, Al and Linda Blevins, Suzanne and Darell Morgan from the Opry band, and the rest of you! Great to meet the ladies who came over from Lake Panasoffkee too!! Everyone who was there helped make it a huge success. The management loved it and I will be posting a lot more gigs there soon. Thanks again everybody!!!!! Y'all are the best!!!! I will also be playing for a private party next weekend at a new restaurant opening next month on Lake Weir where I will also be playing more dates. More places in The Villages coming up and a really nice place on the Rainbow River too, so come back often!! I hope to see y'all somewhere soon!!! I will also be going up to Statesboro next Saturday to kick off the 24th season of Kermit & Honest Bob's Georgia Southern Eagles football post-game shows. we will be at Loco's starting around 9 PM. So it will be a great to see all the GSU fans next weekend!! GO EAGLES!!
