In about an hour I will be another year older. Actually I wasn't born until about 9:30 A.M. so I have a few hours left before I put another notch on the pole. It has been a fun year and I am looking forward to an exciting 2013. I plan on doing a lot of picking, traveling and having more fun than last year. I will be leaving early in the morning on a great birthday trip until Wednesday. When I get back I plan on buckling down to the business of setting up my calendar and gigs for the year. I also have some songs I am really looking forward to writing. I have a lot of ideas I have been reflecting on over the past year or two, and it is time to give them life. I am grateful for the inspiration to create again after a dry spell that muddied up my mind for a while. So thank you Lord for another year in Paradise.
