Back to Georgia...

Just got back to Georgia and  had a great time, and some fun gigs on my two week stay in Florida. I played five shows while I was there at three different places. I had two great nights in Lake Panasoffkee at a great little place called At The Pier that I hope to return to very often. My next gig there will be Nov. the 17th. I also got to play with a band called Tradition's Children from the 60s in Ft. Pierce at the Dan McCarty Class of '67 reunion. That was a real blast from the past. There are four old friends from the original band that was together at the same time I was in The Sand Trippers. That was quite a treat playing with them. I also did two shows at The Orange Blossom Opry in Weirsdale. The highlight of those two shows for me was getting to sing a duet with the very talented hostess of the show, Suzanne Morgan. We sang one of my favorite duets of all time, "Whiskey Lullaby" written by Bill Anderson and made famous by Brad Paisley and Alison Krause. I also got to hang out at the beach in Vero for a few days before heading back to Georgia for for another half dozen gigs or more over the next three weeks. Hope to see some of you along the road..........
